Get To Know True Blood Newbie Marshall Allan

On a show that’s full of guys that make ladies swoon, shape-shifter Marshall Allman is definitely adding a little bit more heat to the already scorching fire on “True Blood.” And so in honor of the show’s big return last Sunday night, we’ve decided to make Mr. Allman this week’s Hump Day Hottie.

Vital Stats: The 26-year-old Austin, Texas native played some soccer and even had an interest in art as a kid. But, instead of moving to the Big Apple to study the craft of art, he moved to the City of Angels to become an actor. We are definitely pleased about this decision!

Although he’s married (tear!), we have to admit we love the fact that he and his wife argued about just what being our HDH evenmeans. “Me and my wife had a little bit of a debate,” he told Hollywood Crush. “I’m always really surprised when people think I’m attractive or whatever, you know? She goes, ‘Honey, you’re smoking hot!’ And I say, ‘Dude, you’re biased! You married me!’ But I wondered if it was called ‘Hump Day Hottie’ because they put it out on a Wednesday, and she goes, ‘No, they call it Hump Day because everyone wants to hump you!'” he laughed. “Obviously she’s kidding, but that’s a debate we’re having.”

Where you might have already seen him: He’s been on a number of shows including “Cold Case,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Malcolm In The Middle,” but he really had us hooked when we watched him on “Prison Break” week after week as LJ Burrows.

Why you should take notice of him now: He’s on “True Blood.” Really that should be enough of a reason. And, we can’t wait to see what kinds of trouble he can get into as the shape shifting Tommy and newly located little brother of Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell). He teased, “In this season of ‘True Blood,’ you’re going to see many different facets of me. You’ll see a different side of my talent, which I’m very excited about.”
